
Due to increase in the number of cases in accident and breaking of traffic rules and regulation was observed at Jakat Naka Saibaba Mandir Bhiwandi.
Hence Swayam Siddhi College of Management and Research organize “Traffic Control and Awareness Program” on 17th August 2019.
The program was held to increase the needs of awareness among the people and role they can play in reducing the number of accidents caused on roads. The activity started with explaining Community Policing which is all about providing security and help to the people at their door steps. We made it clear that people do not even need to go to the police station for reporting an incident. Their service to the community would be prompt and just a call away.
Mr. Prakash Singh Rathod, the head of traffic police presented before the students the set of traffic rules that people to need to follow and maintain while driving. Students showed a high sense of awareness and also got the opportunity to learn many set of rules that are mandatory for driving.
The teachers also showed a keen interest in the session as they would be highly benefited in the endeavor to procure driving license. The students along with traffic police checked the driving license and PUC of each vehicle passed by.
Students also tried to avoid the traffic at the junction with the help of officer available there. The students learned a lot and was able to understand the safety measures explained to them.
All the students were satisfied and took positive from the activities and learned a lot from the event.
