LECTURE ON “Investment in Stock Market"
A teaching learning initiative was organised by the Swayam Siddhi College of Management and Research on the topic “Investment in Stock Market by CA Ujwal Dokania, Assistant Professor, on May 23, 2020. The session was organised online on Google meet from 03:00pm to 05:00pm. The main objective of the program was to explain the various term associated with stock market. To explain the buying, selling of shared and understanding the company portfolio. He addressed the students regarding the functioning of the stock market and the derivatives in stock market. He also explained the meaning of Options and Futures and Speculators in the Stock Exchange. He also covered trading in stock market especially and its use in technical analysis in picking stocks, tools of technical analysis and investment planning It was a very informative session to the students.
He gave explanation about some of the terms with regard to stock market, the importance of investing in equity market and mutual funds and how it can multiply ones earnings and encouraged the student to start making small investments in stock market. Online buying and selling was explained in detail. Student’s queries were answered by him. Around 50 students were present for the lecture.
Online Lecture of “Cost Accounting”
A teaching learning initiative was organised by the Swayam Siddhi College of Management and Research on the topic “Cost Accounting” by Rahul Shah, Assistant Professor, on June 24, 2020. The session was organised online on Google meet from 03:00pm to 05:00pm. He addressed the students regarding the Cost Sheet, Material, Labour, Overheads and Operating Costing. He also explained the meaning of Standard Costing and Marginal Costing. He also covered Budgetary control, Job Batch Costing and Activity |based costing. It was a very informative session to the students.
Student’s queries were answered by him. Around 50 students were present for the lecture.

LECTURE ON “Analysis of Union Budget 2021-22"
Swayam Siddhi College of Management and Research organized an teacher learning initiative lecture on “Analysis of Union Budget 2021‟, on 3rd February 2020 at 10.00 am for all MMS students. The speaker of the session was CA Ujwal Dokania. The event was coordinated by Prof. Sharique Momin. A Total of 90 students along with other faculty attended the lecture making the session a great success. The session began with a welcome note 2nd year student Mr. Umair Shaikh. The main aim of this session was to enlighten the students on the significance and essence of the budget as a foundation of hope and inspiration for the next 25 years to build a new India. Before getting into the analysis of the budget, Ujwal Sir layed out a base for the students and came up with a few interesting historical facts about the previously presented budgets. He caught the attention of the students by talking about the tradition‟ followed every year during discussions held for preparation. The session included both the positives of the budget and the expectations unfulfilled. The lecture concluded with a question-and-answer session where students actively posed their queries and speaker beautifully resolved their query.
