The 2 Day Virtual Multi-Disciplinary National Conference on the theme, “Vision India 2050: Evolving Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in India,” unfolded in an extremely grand manner on April 17th &18th 2021.
The entire event was conceptualized and executed under the guidance of CA Prof.Ujwal Dokania from Swayam Siddhi College of Management and Research(SSCMR) and Prof.Usma Momin & Prof.Aiman Peerzade from Swayam Siddhi Degree Night College with wonderful patronage and support from the Conference Chairperson Dr. Arloph Johnvieira and Conference Chief Advisor Dr. G. S. Shikhare, Principal, Swayam Siddhi Degree Night College.
The entire Faculty Team and non-Teaching Staff from both SSCMR and Swayam Siddhi Degree Night College offered a considerable amount of support for initiating smooth conduct of proceedings on both the days of the Conference.
The event was anchored and hosted wonderfully for both the days by Prof.Aiman Peerzade, the Conference Co-ordinator in collaboration with Prof.Ujwal Dokania, the Conference Convenor.
Also, the National Conference received patronage and support for both the days through Special Welcome addresses by Mr. Parag Khandekar and Mrs.Rita Khandekar, the Hon’ble Managing Trustees of SSCMR and Mr. Sattar Rauf Pathan, the Chief Patron.
The first day (April 17, 2021) of the Conference set the event on a very Positive Note with Insightful and thought-provoking speeches by Chief Guest of Honour Shri.V. Venkata Ramana, Chairman, Telangana State Council of Higher Education(TSCHE), and Guest of Honour Shri. Bhushan Chaudhari, Director, KBCNMU Centre for Innovation Incubation and Linkages.
The Afternoon Schedule for Day 1 consisted of a Technical Round that included the presentation of Research Papers from select Researchers, Faculties, and Students (Registered Paper Presenters) on their chosen topic - related to the Conference Theme – judged brilliantly by eminent Researcher Dr. Kiran Mane, Principal, Prahladrai Dalmia Lions College.
The second day (April 18) kept the Conference fervor and spirit on with around 5 eminent Guest Speakers gracing the Occasion. All spoke quite extensively on the Conference Theme. Accordingly, Prof. Leena Barshikar, Assistant Professor, Kohinoor Business School, Dr. Harvind Bhashin, MMS Co-ordinator, Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management,Mr. Nikhil Kulkarni, Manager, BCNMU Centre for Innovation Incubation and Linkages, Mr. Dhammapal Thorat, Programme Associate, and Business Counselor, MCED and Mr.Ravish Dhuru, a renowned Social Worker and Professional Architect; these 5 eminent Experts mesmerized the audience with their though-proving insights and marvelous intellectual inputs.
All in all, the stellar hard work, coordination, and collaboration put in by all the National Conference Team reaped rich dividends as the combined registrations for both the days of the Proceedings, touched a staggering mark of 485 with around 10 Quality Research papers, being presented by eminent Faculties, Teachers and Student Researchers - when the event concluded on Day 2.
This 2-day Intellectual spectacle, therefore, will always leave an indelible and illustrious mark in the esteemed Annals of SWAYAM SIDDHI COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH and would play a pivotal role in boosting the SSCMR Brand image in the Comity of Best Indian B-Schools in days to come.
With this Positive Backdrop in mind, the Swayam siddhi Mitra Sangh college of management and research had conducted the mock interview and campus interview Sessions between January and February 2021 specially for MMS Sem IV Student Fraternity.
The Sem IV students were able to assimilate and imbibe an extremely holistic approach to the real Corporate Arena on account of fantastic exposure to the Mock and Campus Interview process during this time. This helped in the true realization of the motto of Placement cell which is continuously striving for improvement in skills and knowledge among the students - to enable them - gain awareness and experience; for enhancing employment, innovation, and incubation of Cell breeds among young entrepreneurs.
